Prague Characteristics

In the past few years, Prague has been attracting many tourists but it has also become a wonderful place to live and it really is no surprise considering the rich cultural and historical heritage, the excellent public transport and the incredibly low prices.

Beautiful architecture

Prague unlike other European cities has suffered remarkably little structural damage during World War II. Thanks to that, many historical buildings have been preserved and since the end of the Communist era, they have gone through restoration. The architecture is very diverse. We can find many historical buildings from all architectural styles.

Public Transport
*
The public transport here in Prague is one of the best in all of Europe because it is very well integrated. The transportation system includes the subway which has three lines (A, B, C), over twenty tram lines and an endless number of buses allowing you to get anywhere you want. It is also very frequent (even during the weekends), very cheap and reliable.

Low Prices
*
Whether it is the price of food, beer, cigarettes or even transportation and rent, you will notice that the cost of living in Prague is one of the lowest in Europe. This is because the national currency here isn’t the Euro, but the Czech crown which allows the Czech Republic to control their economy and ultimately the prices.

If you are considering moving to Prague, you should know that the city is divided into 10 districts and each of these Prague districts includes various cadastral communities.
