Bat'ovna (or Bat'a's house) is located in the heart of the Sumava village of Javorník in close proximity to the forest, to which all apartments offer unobstructed views.

The original Bat'ovna, built in 1940–1941 by Bata (Jan Antonin Bata), once served as a place of business. In the following decades it was a popular meeting place and served as a restaurant.

The new Bat'aovna has all the elements of modern housing, which, however, are quite seamlessly connected with the original stone foundations, original cladding with beams, etc.

The Bat'ovna has retained its charm and character thanks to several years of sensitive reconstruction, combining various materials such as stone, glass, metal, concrete and especially wood in the interior.

Chata Bat'ovna has been completely renovated, all apartments are brand new and fully furnished with timeless furniture and quality appliances.

Emphasis has been placed on preserving the original atmosphere of the building, but the interiors are modern and meet all standards of demanding living.

Picturesque landscape and untouched nature, all this can be found in the Šumava region in the village of Javorník at an altitude of 1065 m above sea level.

The village of Javorník is a year-round recreational centre with opportunities for active enjoyment of individuals and families. Already in the last century there was an effort to make Javorník a representative Sumava resort and an important place of Sumava tourism.

There is a ski lift, a lookout tower, a chapel, bicycle trails, a white track, two restaurants and a popular natural swimming pool in the next village.

Within driving distance of the Zadov ski resort, the rope centre and the Šumava National Park…)

Javorník is a year-round organized many events of local residents and there is a rich sports and cultural life. All around you can find cultural landscape, folk architecture and unforgettable views.

Thanks to this, Javorník has also been popular with famous writers. Karel Klostermann, for example, considered Javorník to be the most beautiful part of Šumava and was responsible for building the lookout tower that bears his name. Since 1968, he has had his statue here as well.

Since the owner of Bat'ovna has many years of experience in saving historical buildings and building new modern residences, he wanted to apply his skills in a place that captivated him from the beginning and grabbed him by the heart. He chose this place carefully, among other things, for himself and his active leisure activities.
